We have a number of points that are important to bear in mind during assembly. If the assembly is not successful due to any of the following situations, unfortunately we cannot take responsibility for this and the warranty will also lapse.

• During assembly you are responsible for covering the floor, if it is not covered we are not responsible for any damage to the floor.
• Also, no fragile/costly items such as vases and paintings are allowed within a 5-metre radius around the assembly site and along the walkway.
• Furthermore, no children are allowed to play in the rooms where we have to work. (Of course, this can simply be discussed with the mechanics).
• When mounting the doors/doors, the client should ensure that there are no skirting boards at the location where the doors/doors will be mounted on the walls or ceiling. The situation may be different if expressly agreed otherwise. Should any skirting boards still need to be removed during installation, Aluwdoors cannot be held liable for any resulting damage. We cut away the skirting board, which means that the wall still has to be finished neatly afterwards. This is not something Aluwdoors does.
• Stone skirting boards can unfortunately not be cut in, they must be removed by a third party, e.g. a tiler.
• If drilling is not allowed in the floors/walls/columns, this must be notified in advance.
• Any (glass) damage must be reported within 48 hours, otherwise we cannot take responsibility for it.
• If you want the (hinged) door mounted on the edge of a wall, this is often possible. However, we often cannot prevent a piece of plaster or wall from coming loose.
• All panels can have a size/straightness tolerance of 4 mm.
• Any caulking and painting work will not be carried out by us, as will the repair of minor damage to plaster of the wall or ceiling unavoidable during installation (in exceptional cases).
• The seams at warping are not sealed by Aluwdoors.
• For shower walls, Aluwdoors does not provide the sealing either.
• With shower walls and outdoor enclosures, however, it is compulsory to have it sealed by a third party. If the doors or walls are damaged because they have not been sealed, the guarantee will be invalidated. • Our fitters deliver broom clean. Our work does not include cleaning the walls we assemble (glass washing).
• During assembly, we must have electricity, light and sanitary facilities.
• The room in which work is to be carried out should be wind and watertight. The room must also be lit as mentioned above. If this is not possible, please let us know in advance.
• Any vertical transport (moving lift or crane) is not included in the quotation, unless otherwise agreed.
• If we are on site and are unable to assemble, we are obliged to charge the assembly costs.
• Any cancellation must be notified 7 working days in advance, otherwise we will be forced to charge assembly costs.
