Points of attention for upstand doors

  • We fit the doors only in existing upstand frames.
  • We do not make hinge preparations in the frame, these must already be in place.
  • If a cylinder or toilet lock is chosen, it is good to know that with us it is always a PC72 lock, check whether your old door and frame also have this, otherwise a lock is not possible.
  • The hinges we mount will be black (silk) or silver coloured.
  • The rebate should be 15mm, then the door overlaps nicely, more is also allowed but then from the side where the door does not turn, the profiles will be less/not visible all around.
  • All panels can have a size/straightness tolerance of 4 mm.
  • We do not remove transoms, but you can do this yourself if necessary, just note that the lintel must be at least 5 cm. And that there is a chance that there will be holes in the frame if you remove the intermediate post. We do not do anything else with this. Make sure not to throw away the calf section!
