Which inner door should I choose?
What are the differences?
A pivot door turns with you
Pivot doors turn to two sides and do not need a frame. They pivot around a point in the floor and ceiling, creating a sleek and open look. You often see this type of door between the hall and living room or in an open-plan kitchen.
Every Aluwdoors pivot door is fitted with a soft-close system as standard. This means the door always closes softly and gradually behind you, without any loud noise or slamming. Want to leave the door open? That is also possible. Thanks to the on hold system, the door stays open neatly at 90 degrees. Ideal if you want to temporarily keep the room completely open.
For spaces where every centimetre counts
Sliding doors are ideal if you don't want to lose space to a turning circle. The door slides along the wall or disappears into the wall, so you don't need a free space to open the door. This makes sliding doors perfect for smaller spaces such as a bedroom or home office.
Aluwdoors's aluminium sliding doors slide smoothly open and close, and are finished with a minimalist rail. Want extra comfort? Then you can opt for a softclose system. This opens and closes the door softly and in a controlled manner, without you having to pull it shut hard.
Tight, solid and lockable
This is the classic interior door that you open to one side. At Aluwdoors, we make it with a slim aluminium profile, giving the door a sleek and modern look. Hinged doors fit in almost any room and combine well with fixed glass walls.
What really sets our hinged doors apart is the fully rubberised frame. This seals the door perfectly and keeps draughts out. That makes this type ideal for rooms where you want to keep heat or noise inside (or outside). Think, for example, of an office space, bedroom or corridor. If sealing is important, the hinged door is often the best choice.
A stylish upgrade without remodelling
Flush doors are ideal if you want to replace your interior doors but don't feel like chopping and breaking. These doors are installed in your existing upstand frame and partly fall over the frame. This means no rebuilding is required: we can simply fit the door into the existing frame.
So you get the look of a modern, aluminium interior door, but with quick and easy installation. The result is a stylish upgrade to your home, without having to demolish or modify anything.
