Do you choose a single or double pivot door?
For smaller passages, a single steel pivot door is often sufficient. For wider openings or if you want to make a statement, a double pivot door with or without side panels is a better choice. Both variants are equally functional and are of course made to fit exactly.
Why a pivot door
The advantages of an aluminium pivot door
Hinge mechanism pivot door
An aluminium pivot door is a stylish door and is easy to use. Thanks to the hinge mechanism in the floor, the door turns both ways, ensuring a smooth passage. As the door is mounted in a tightly finished opening, the whole look is sleek and modern.
Aluminium profile
The aluminium profile is light and strong, allowing the door to open and close effortlessly. The design looks sleek and modern, and fits well with an interior with lots of glass and light. A pivot door opens to both sides, making it extra comfortable to use.
Softclose system
Thanks to the softclose system, the door closes automatically and silently, without falling shut hard. This makes this door both stylish and practical in heavily used rooms.
Our services
Assembly and installation
Our professionals will take care of the complete assembly if required. When you make an enquiry via the configurator, you will immediately receive a price offer, which includes measuring and installation. Installing the pivot door yourself is also possible, although we recommend leaving it to our experts. Would you like to install the door yourself? Then we provide clear instructions.
Keep in mind that the system is drilled one centimetre deep into the top layer of the floor. This is often possible even if you have underfloor heating.

We will be happy to come to your place to take care of the installation! Our goal is for you to enjoy a new door.

Comfort and convenience
Pivot doors from Aluwdoors come with a softclose and on-hold function as standard. The softclose system ensures quiet closing, while the on-hold system keeps the door open, when desired. This increases convenience in high-traffic areas such as living rooms, kitchens or offices.
