Softclose for pivot doors
In pivot doors, the closing delay is often incorporated in the pivot hinge. The hinge brakes the movement and allows the door to close in a controlled manner. Especially with heavy aluminium doors, this gives extra comfort and control: the door turns smoothly and closes neatly. Combined with an automatic closing position, the door always closes fully and gently, ensuring ease of use and a neat finish.
Can a soft-close system be retrofitted?
A softclose system cannot be retrofitted. With our pivot doors, the door is fitted with softclose as standard, with our sliding doors this is an option, but it must be taken into account when designing the door.
However, it is important to have the door and its dimensions checked carefully beforehand.
