Oak veneer doors

The veneer door is a new type of aluminium door. This interior door with wood veneer is made of aluminium with a real oak veneer on top. Thanks to the aluminium profile, the profile is slim, thus combining the charm of wood with the precision of aluminium. This creates a sleek and contemporary design. Our fitters fully customise each veneer door at our workshop in Nunspeet. Choose from different colours, combine them with various types of glass and decide on the proportions and surface division. This way, each door fits your interior style exactly.

Advantages of an oak veneer door

A veneer door has the appearance of solid wood, but this door is lighter, more stable and durable in use than all-wood doors. This is especially true of aluminium veneer doors, as they are mostly made of this lightweight metal.

The thin top layer of real wood creates a natural look. The door also does not warp. A veneer door continues to function well even after frequent use. These advantages mean you have a stylish and practical door in any room.

Materials for oak veneer doors

Our veneer doors are made of aluminium with a top layer of real oak. The veneer shows off the natural wood structure beautifully. Have your veneer door coated with Rubio Monocoat's coating colours, available in two colours. This is the colour Natural or the colour Chocolate. The slim 30-millimetre-wide aluminium profile gives the door a modern and warm look that fits well in any interior.

Maintenance of oak veneer doors

A steel veneer door requires little maintenance. The aluminium profile is easy to keep clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using aggressive detergents or scouring pads. These will damage the door's coating.

For oak veneer, it is important to use dry or slightly damp cloths. Do not use soap or solvents, which can damage the wood. Don't let the wood get too wet. Then the finish will remain beautiful and you will enjoy your veneer door for many years.

Cleaning and protecting oak veneer doors

An aluminium veneer door will last longer if you protect it properly. Make sure the door can move freely (especially pivot doors), without contact with furniture or walls. A door stop prevents unwanted knocks or wear on the veneer profile. Feel free to take contact us on for personal advice, or drop by our showrooms in Nunspeet, Barendrecht, Mijdrecht or Veghel.
