What is the Building Quality Assurance Act?
The Building Quality Assurance Act (WKB) ensures that construction works meet certain quality requirements. Since 1 January 2024, this law has been in force. Its purpose? To make building safer and better quality.
For you as a customer, this means having certainty that the structure you pay for meets all technical requirements. This applies to new buildings, but also to conversions and renovations.

2. Description of the work
- The project involves the supply and installation of aluminium and/or oak wood doors and/or external facades in accordance with the technical drawings and regulations.
- See detail drawing on page 8 to page 101.
- Doors comply with the 2012 Building Code.
- Type of glass is 6, 10 or 12 mm laminated safety glass.
- Profile is aluminium or oak coated or monocoated.

Warranty agreement: See page 103.
- Maintenance:
Clean the glass with soft materials.
Check hinges and locking mechanisms annually. - Warranty conditions:
Glass: 10 years from manufacturing defects.
Aluminium frame: 15 years on coating and durability.
Additional guarantee:
- Moving parts: 3 years.
- Assembly: 6 months.
- Warranty expires in case of repairs by third parties or improper use.

7. Assembly and manual
Assembly according to the instructions in the manual. See page 104 to 122.
Key points of interest:
- Leveling doors and checking turning radius.
- Openings must be fully finished.
8. Competent authority file
Doors comply with the Building Decree 2012 and are suitable for both damp and non-humid spaces. However, this may vary depending on the type of door and/or wall.

Glass certificate 10 mm thick.
