Our hinged doors are always supplied with a sleek finished aluminium frame. The slim frames fit nicely with the slim profiles of the hinged doors, giving the whole one sleek and modern look.
The window frame is fully equipped with a rubber strip. This not only ensures a neat closure, but also helps reduce draughts and noise. In addition, the aluminium window frame is lightweight, rustproof and dimensionally stable, ensuring a precise fit and years of beautiful appearance.
Why a hinged door?
Steel hinged doors offer ultimate convenience and are extremely versatile. Customise them as you wish. For example, choose the type of lock yourself: a barrel lock with cylinder is possible, but also a toilet lock for extra privacy. Do you have a very modern interior? Then choose a minimalist magnetic lock.Â
Double doors, such as the double active hinge door, do not fall over each other. Therefore, if you choose a double-hinged door (active or passive), the passive door has a pin lock.
When choosing hinged doors, it is important that your ceiling is solid enough, as the frame will be mounted to it. A ceiling made of concrete, wood or a double plasterboard fitted with eighteen-millimetre-thick plywood is often suitable for mounting a steel hinged door. The wall and floor should also be stable and level. Do you have underfloor heating? No problem: the doors combine well with underfloor heating.
