Which type of door?

What are the differences?

Pivot doors

Steel pivot doors

A pivot door rotates around a vertical axis, with hinges incorporated into the top and bottom of the door. This creates a sleek, minimalist look with no visible hinges on the side. The door can open to either side and closes quietly with soft-close. Because the hinges are concealed, you get a wider doorway and an open feeling in your home. The system we use only needs to go 10 mm deep into the floor, so no problem with underfloor heating either. Perfect for those who love a modern look.

Sliding doors

Steel sliding doors

Sliding doors are ideal if you have limited space or simply prefer a sleek, space-saving solution. Instead of swinging open, the door slides along the wall or into a recess. This makes them not only practical, but also visually interesting - especially with those slender profiles and large glass surfaces we use. You keep more floor space free and create an open, airy atmosphere between rooms. Sliding doors fit well in modern interiors, but also in more classic styles. And like all our doors: fully customised, so exactly how you want it.

Hinged doors

Steel hinged doors

Hinged doors are the most traditional option, but with a modern twist. The door hangs on regular hinges in a frame, and we supply that frame with a rubber seal as standard. This ensures that the door seals perfectly. No draughts, no noise, just closed as it should be. Our slim aluminium profiles and clean finish give you that modern, industrial look, but with the ease of use and solidity of a well-sealing door. Perfect if you don't necessarily want a pivot door, but still want that metallic aesthetic. And with that rubberised seal, the door just feels solid.

Rebated doors

Steel rebated doors

A overlay door falls on the frame rather than in it, giving the door an edge that extends over the frame. This makes for an excellent seal - little draught, better insulation, and you'll notice it on your energy bills. Upstand doors are also easier to fit than hinged doors, which saves time and money. Perfect if you have an existing window frame in which you want to fit a new door, without a major renovation. The slender aluminium profile and sleek design give your interior that modern look, while the practical benefits make your home more comfortable. Fully customised of course, in any RAL colour you want.
