Completed projects
Each Aluwdoors hinged door comes with a frame. That frame is fully rubberised: along the entire perimeter is a rubber strip that seals the door when the door is closed. This reduces draughts and dampens noise.
The window frames are as slim as the profiles of the door itself. They do not stand out, but do their job. The profile width is fixed. However, you can choose the type of door, the colour, the glass and the fittings. Do you already have an upright frame? Then we will install the new frame in it, without any major construction work.
Why a hinged door?
Steel hinged doors offer great ease of use and are very versatile. Customise them as you wish. For example, choose the type of lock yourself: a barrel lock with cylinder is possible, but also a toilet lock for extra privacy. Do you have a very modern interior? Then choose a minimalist magnetic lock.Â
Double doors, such as the double active hinge door, do not fall over each other. Therefore, if you choose a double-hinged door, a passive door has a pin lock.
When choosing hinged doors, it is important that your ceiling is sturdy enough, as the frame will be mounted to it. A ceiling made of concrete, wood or a double plasterboard fitted with eighteen-millimetre-thick plywood is suitable for a steel hinged door. The wall and floor should also be stable and level. Do you have underfloor heating? No problem: these doors combine well with underfloor heating.
