Industrial doors are available as a pivot door, sliding door, hinged door, overlay door, or fixed wall. A pivot door turns both ways and falls shut automatically, thanks to the soft-closing system in the door. This is ideal in a kitchen, where your hands are often full. Sliding doors move along the wall. This is ideal if you want to save space.
Hinged doors open to one side and are suitable for more classic interiors. They always come with a fully rebated frame for a good seal. The frame means the hinged door also opens to one side.
Rebated doors fit tightly to the frame and are therefore easy to use in existing situations. This is because overlap doors are installed in an existing frame. We supply a new upfront door with new hinge doors but always fit the door in the existing upfront frame. This way, up-and-over doors always fall over the frame, whereas hinged doors fall into the frame.
