What colours are possible for your door?
Aluwdoors offers a wide palette of doors with different colours and finishes to suit both modern and classic interiors. You can choose from all RAL colours, so that the door matches the rest of your interior. The powder coating looks neat and forms a colourfast protective layer that prevents scratches and dirt and is easy to clean.

Standard colours and popular choices
A colour determines the look of your door at a glance. Do you opt for a distinct character or do you want the whole thing to match the walls and frames? That's why we offer standard window frames and doors in RAL 9005 (black), also called Aluwblack gn. Want a different colour? Then we will provide door profiles and frames in the RAL colour of your choice. Tell us the colour code and we will supply you with a colour sample, so you can decide whether you really like the colour you have chosen.
Special colours and customisation options
Apart from the colour, you put everything together yourself: choose the type of door (a pivot door, hinged door, upright door or sliding door). You also determine the tessellation of the glass and which door handles are fitted.
Determine the layout of the glass and aluminium. The glass is always six millimetres of laminated safety glass. Clear glass, fitted as standard, is the cheapest. You can also choose from grey, bronze or matt glass. Patterned glass and even more colours and shades of glass are also possible. Then you also choose the handle, such as a tubular handle, tubular handle, corner handle, bracket handle or a handle over the entire door height. Side panels or fanlights are also possible.

Coating structures and finishes
The finish of the doors and walls largely determines how your door or wall looks and feels. The standard colour of the doors has a fine-textured, matt-looking finish. Folding walls receive a fine-textured coating as standard: it has a subtle grain structure, making the wall look less shiny and therefore quieter. This gives doors a distinct, clean look and folding walls a modern, industrial look.
Is the matt powder coating more prone to scratching than the fine-textured?
Scratches are more noticeable on smooth powder-coated doors because the surface is more shiny and reflects more light. A fine-textured coating has a fine grain that actually camouflages small scratches, making them less noticeable.
Both finishes are impact-resistant, but small scratches can always occur. To avoid scratches, avoid rubbing along the profiles and do not use abrasives when cleaning. Still have questions? Feel free to contact us on.
